Ioanna Myrka has worked on the video recording selected scenes accordind
to the idea either or the theme concerned.
The artist seperates her work into two parts: the work applied before 2004,
where she records scenes from her daily surroundings of human habits.
Since 2004 she has been preoccupied with personal experiences transformed
and filtered through notions and symbols.

In her recent work, influenced by her admiration of the aesthetic and culture
deriving from the wisdom and simplicity of the people of the East,
she transformes through drawings and other projects a world which
she merely reaches by intuition.
